First, a little history. In his speech on February 28, 1992, the Lubavitcher Rebbe stated: “The fulfillment of the prophecy about the ingathering of the Jews of the whole world in Israel has already begun. And, moreover, we are at the end of that process.”
The Rebbe also noted that this is happening in many countries of the world with the knowledge of the governments of those countries and added: “It is true that there are still one or two countries left from which the Jews need to flee, but the spread of justice and mercy throughout the world will undoubtedly save them from the risks.” .
The Rebbe did not name those two countries at the time, but most likely they were Yemen and Cuba, where after a while, the Rebbe's prophecy was fulfilled and the Jews also began to be released from there...
Now fast forward 30 years. On February 24, 2022, the Russian invasion of Ukraine began. What’s uncanny about the date is that on the Jewish calendar, February 24, 2022 fell on the 23rd of Adar 23 while the Rebbe’s speech back in 1992 took place on the following day, the 24th of Adar, exactly 30 years prior! This can’t be a coincidence since the Rebbe is mentioning about two countries from which "Jews need to flee."
It seems to me that this is another example of the so-called "delayed prophecy" of the Rebbe King Moshiach. It would seem that the two countries from which Jews have to flee today are Russia and Ukraine. And who knows, if in the past we had taken the Rebbe's request to gather together in the Holy Land more seriously, this war would not have happened, and a full Redemption would have come long ago.
In any case, I have no doubt that the Rebbe's prophecy will be fully fulfilled in our days, just like it was 30 years ago. So let there be peace on earth!
