The price of oil has dropped to a two-year low! Crude oil is down to $68 a barrel!
Remember when we were threatened that Russian aggression into Ukraine would cause oil prices to rise? And that Europe was facing a terrible winter? And that European countries wouldn’t have enough electricity in the winter?
Now we know that Europe is well prepared and survived the winter without significant losses!
It seems that Europe is now successfully overcoming energy dependence on Russia. No doubt — this is a long-awaited and blessed step.
Russia’s threats have not affected European aid to Ukraine. And the fact that Russia has hardly sold any oil to Europe in return has not caused any serious damage to Europeans.
Moreover, the price of oil, as we can see, has even gone down.
