These days there has been a positive change in the situation in the south — the 5th Reserve Brigade has returned to maneuver in the center of the Gaza Strip. This is an important announcement and we hope that the tasks to be assigned to the brigade will primarily include dealing with the „central camps“, which have become a „sanctuary city“ for thousands of terrorists, where some of the abductees are apparently being held, which can be reached with intelligence and fighting in the field.
According to the latest IDF estimates: approximately 17,000 terrorists have been eliminated so far, of whom about 10,000 have been reliably identified.
According to published information, General Gordin of the Northern Command supports the establishment of a buffer zone in southern Lebanon, i.e. a „security zone“ within Lebanon, and is pushing the army to launch a military operation against Hizbullah together with the Air Force commander, who is also pushing for an escalation of the campaign. However, the chief of staff appears to be stalling.
Replacing Galant with Gideon Saar will accelerate the campaign against Hizbullah and destroy this terrible enemy, which is waiting at any moment for an opportunity to launch a terrorist attack against us in the north, as Hamas has done in the south. Therefore, there is no choice but to eliminate it, which is basically possible.
Netanyahu told U.S. envoy Hochstein, who came to try to bring about a settlement in the north: „We seek to bring about a historic change in the north.“ Minister Miki Zohar backed him up: „We are preparing for a difficult campaign in the north.“
Can Hizbullah be defeated? The answer is, „Of course!“ We all saw a few weeks ago that when the IDF receives an order, it can launch a very effective preemptive strike that neutralizes most of Hizbullah’s forces!
It is worth remembering that on the day this terrorist group planned to attack Israel, it prepared hundreds of launchers with thousands of rockets. The IDF destroyed at least 80% of them and even more in a preemptive attack!

Hizbullah, it will be recalled, only managed to launch just over 200 rockets. And another very important point — almost all of the rockets it launched landed in open terrain or were successfully intercepted. Only a few missiles hit buildings, but by the grace of the Almighty there were no casualties.
And this once again illustrates to us in the most vivid way that when the people of Israel act decisively against their enemies, they receive very great help from Heaven and achieve great success!
And this is how we should act — to destroy the haters of Israel with determination, with strength, without giving up or bending.
