At a press conference last night, Prime Minister Netanyahu shared that Israel has destroyed half of Iran’s UAV fleet. He described the success of the IDF as „a pager operation on steroids,“ a surprisingly effective campaign. The results are indeed astonishing and entirely unexpected.
In addition, 70 air defence batteries were destroyed, which is roughly half of Iran’s surface-to-air systems. Also taken out were 120 of the country’s 360 missile launchers — one-third of the total number.
Yesterday, the International Atomic Energy Agency officially confirmed that 15,000 centrifuges in Natanz have been destroyed or rendered inoperative. It was also cleared for publication that, the day before, the head of intelligence of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and his deputy were eliminated. This followed closely after the removal of Iran’s head of military intelligence, along with his own deputy.
This is a tremendous achievement. We believe it to be nothing less than miraculous assistance from Heaven — a miracle that appears through natural means. In other words, a miracle that looks like an extraordinary coincidence or a chain of unlikely events, but is actually divine intervention. In fact, such miracles are considered even greater than those that break the laws of nature.
We are witnessing unmistakable signs that the Redemption is drawing near. The forces of impurity are being broken apart before our eyes.
With Hamas and Hezbollah defeated, and the Syrian army no longer a factor, the final stronghold of evil — Iran — now stands exposed. Yemen is merely the tail of the beast. Once the head, meaning Iran, is cut off, the Houthis will lose all their power as well.
Iran is truly collapsing. It is clear that the mercy and wonders of the Almighty are at work. Its nuclear programme is being systematically dismantled. Its air force is no longer operational. Its air defences have proven ineffective. In the capital, chaos reigns. Millions are fleeing following the collapse of water and electricity infrastructure, widespread ATM failures, and the relentless bombardments. We are convinced that these events are unfolding because the time for the messianic Redemption has arrived.
Meanwhile, our air force pilots have reported astonishing scenes. Iranian pilots are refusing to fight. „As we approached Iranian airspace,“ they recalled, „Iranian planes initially took off and came toward us. But then they turned around and fled.“
Our sages teach that the evil inclination often appears like a mighty mountain, but in the end, it proves to be nothing more than a strand of hair. The same is true for the Iranian regime and its allies — Hezbollah, Hamas, and the Syrian army. They looked like a massive mountain. But when the people of Israel rose up against them with determination, in accordance with the Torah, ready to fight, it became clear that in truth they were weak and fragile.
This lesson applies to each of us as well. Every person has their own personal mountain, their own evil inclination, which clings to them in one form or another. It’s important to always remember that it only appears to be a mountain. Now, on the threshold of Redemption, each of us can feel more clearly the emptiness of the forces of impurity, and realise that the inner evil weighing us down is actually no stronger than a strand of hair.
May it be the will of Heaven that we merit the true and complete Redemption with the revelation of the righteous Moshiach.
