Last night, thank G-d, was the calmest in Israel since the start of the war. By the grace of the Almighty, aside from two salvos just after midnight, no further rockets were launched at Israel. Those two barrages included only 25 missiles in total, which is a clear sign of a sharp decrease in the intensity of Iranian attacks.
So far, more than 400 rockets have been fired at Israel. Only 35 of them have actually hit any targets.
That same night, the IDF carried out a powerful strike on Tehran. Fifty fighter jets took part in the operation. The attack destroyed a centrifuge production facility, along with factories manufacturing components for ballistic and surface-to-air missiles.
There is another important point to address. This morning brought several reports claiming that „Israel is running low on Arrow missiles.“ Unsurprisingly, the inclusion of „according to an American source“ might have heightened public anxiety.
However, a basic fact-check reveals that this so-called „source“ is neither a military official nor affiliated with the American defence establishment. In other words, he has no real inside knowledge. His claims are mere speculation, based on the assumption that Israel is heavily relying on Arrow missiles for interceptions.
But what this „source“ failed to take into account is that Israel has been preparing for a war with Iran for many years. Every year, Israel has been producing a significant number of Arrow missiles. The system has also been upgraded repeatedly over time. In recent years, preparations have accelerated, and the production rate of Arrow missiles has increased.
This was especially true during Operation Iron Swords, when Israel’s weapons production rate doubled — or even tripled. Moreover, some interceptions are being carried out using American missiles, such as those from THAAD batteries stationed in the country, as well as from navy vessels equipped with AEGIS systems and SM-3 interceptors.
In addition, Israel has successfully deployed the David’s Sling system. After upgrades to its effectiveness, it is now also intercepting missiles launched from Iran. As a result, the interception load is not falling solely on the Arrow system.
It is also important to note that the production of both Arrow and David’s Sling missiles is continuing. Unlike Iran, whose manufacturing infrastructure has already been destroyed, Israel still retains full production capability.
Let us not forget: even during an attack about a year ago, Iran’s planetary fuel mixers — critical equipment used to produce solid rocket fuel — were destroyed. Since the beginning of Operation With a Lion’s Heart, its cruise missile production plants have also been eliminated.
So to state things clearly: there is no danger that Israel will „run out of Arrow missiles.“ And beyond that, Israel is not carelessly using its resources. A strategic and calculated approach is taken to decide which weapons to use for each interception. Sometimes American missiles or David’s Sling are used instead of Arrow missiles.
It is also important to remember what we believe to be even more essential: the Land of Israel is the safest place in the world. It is no coincidence that during the Gulf War, 43 Scud missiles were fired at Israel (according to the Israeli Air Force), and even though the American Patriot system failed spectacularly — at best intercepting just one missile — the rest caused surprisingly few casualties.
That is why we are completely confident in the Arrow system. It is a textbook example of what we call „a miracle clothed in the natural order.“ May the Name of G-d be blessed — He has performed, continues to perform, and will perform miracles for us, because the people of Israel are His cherished nation.
We firmly believe that the Land of Israel remains the safest place on Earth. And as we stand at the threshold of true and complete Redemption, while all our enemies collapse before our eyes, we are strengthened even more in our faith and absolute trust in G-d, as it is written: „He who trusts in the Lord will be surrounded by kindness.“
Let us unite in prayer — for the protection of the people of Israel, for the success of our soldiers on every front, for the safe return of the kidnapped, for the recovery of the wounded together with all the ill of the nation of Israel, and for wisdom and strength for those making critical decisions under immense pressure.
