We have written many times about the need for everyone to believe in the eternal life of the Lubavitcher Rebbe, the King Moshiach. The Rebbe himself first began to speak about the eternal life of the head of the generation in 1987, stating that our generation is the last generation of exile and the first of thr Redemption. The following year, the Rebbe said that our generation (the seventh, if we count from the founder of Chabad, the Alter Rebbe), unlike all previous generations, goes without any interruption into eternal life.
The Rebbe writes about his residence in New York on Eastern Parkway that “this is the place of the King Moshiach, who sits there and waits for the time to lead the Jews out of exile,” and that it is in this place that the Third Temple will open and from there move to Jerusalem.
Someone may object that we do not see the Rebbe today, but there is an answer to this — yes, we do! This year (2004), several dozen people saw the Rebbe during the holiday of Simchat Torah. And this is not the first time! Last year (2003), in “770,” Rabbi Pevzner, the head of the Paris rabbinical court, was putting the Torah Scroll in the cabinet during prayer and saw the Rebbe next to him. After Rabbi Pevzner put the Torah back, he backed away, not taking his eyes off the Rebbe. He was so shocked by what he saw that he told only his son about it, but when he returned to France, he told everyone at the Hasidic gathering.
Last year, a Russian-speaking yeshiva student from Safed, Boruch Arister, was collecting donations at “770.” Before the prayers began, when the entire crowd moves aside to form a passage for the Rebbe, he went to the end of the passage and asked the Rebbe for a blessing. Imagine the surprise of his friends when, at the end of the day, while counting the money he had collected, he found a dollar in the donation box with an inscription that it was from the Rebbe King Moshiach.
This year, several women reported seeing the Rebbe during Sukkot. Mrs. Ch. from Be’er Sheva said that there was a huge crush in the women’s section of “770” — everyone wanted to get closer to the window. She suggested that the women change places so that everyone could stand near the window. Suddenly, she saw the Rebbe standing and looking at the dancers; she was amazed that none of the men seemed to notice. This went on for several minutes. And there were dozens of such cases!

Three years ago, during the holiday of Chanukah, a woman was taking pictures in “770” from the women’s section. In one of the pictures, a glowing silhouette in the shape of a man sitting in a chair is clearly visible. It was taken during prayer, when the Rebbe is sitting in a chair.
Interestingly, in the picture taken before the prayer, only the chair is visible, and all the other pictures taken that day turned out completely ordinary.
In 2003, 11-year-old Hillel Cohen from Jerusalem came to “770” for the High Holidays. He asked to have his picture taken in front of the Rebbe’s chair.

When the film was developed at home, everyone was amazed to find that standing on the boy’s right side was none other than the Rebbe himself! The boy’s parents did not know what to do and asked the Rebbe through “Igrot Kodesh”. The answer was received in volume 7, pages 150-151. The letter mentioned Rav Cohen’s son, talked about photocopies, and also instructed that as many people as possible be informed about this.
There is no doubt that everyone wants to see the Rebbe, the King Moshiach. There is one place for this — “770”, the House of Moshiach. It is there that the Rebbe resides and awaits the coming of the complete and final Redemption.
