In recent years, Lebanon has undergone a consistent process of economic deterioration. The reasons for this are varied, including the cessation of aid from the Gulf states, which have designated Hezbollah (part of the Lebanese government) as a terrorist organization. Additionally, the huge influx of refugees from Syria has placed a heavy burden on the state's economy, not to mention government corruption and the Hezbollah takeover.
A meeting yesterday in Paris, attended by senior representatives from the United Nations, the United States, France, and other countries, discussed assistance to Lebanon. At the end of the meeting, an aide to the US Secretary of State made an announcement that a decision had been made not to assist the Lebanese government due to his inability to implement the necessary reforms. Lebanon will therefore only be offered technical and perhaps limited humanitarian assistance.
Recently, the Lebanese Prime Minister (who has already resigned) called on many countries to urgently and massively help the disintegrating economy of his country, which now faces the possibility of a total collapse due to protests and riots that are continuing throughout the country.
This is an open display of Divine assistance to the Israeli people at a time of tension with Iran and Hezbollah. The deteriorating economic situation in Lebanon is restraining the hands of Israel's haters who, with G-d’s mercy, continue to falter and fall apart, without war.
