G-d willing, the good news is getting better and better.
1. In just the past 24 hours, dozens of terrorists were killed in the Gaza Strip.
In the most famous of our army’s recent attacks — on a large Hamas headquarters compound that was deployed right inside a school (a war crime) — at least 19 terrorists were eliminated. According to our intelligence, 24 terrorists were there, but so far only 19 of them have been confirmed as eliminated.
The propaganda of Hamas and its supporters, of course, immediately inflated the number of those allegedly killed by our attack. First Hamas representatives claimed 40 dead, then 70, then 100. At the same time, of course, all the “dead” were declared to be “innocent civilians”. Of course, Hamas did not list the “dozens of dead” by name. Firstly, because the death toll was inflated by them many times over. Secondly, because those who were actually liquidated are known Hamas terrorists (including high-ranking ones), and therefore could not be presented as “innocent civilians”.
The army press service dismissed these speculations, saying that the headquarters located on the school territory was destroyed by three precision missiles, which blew up only the floor where the terrorists were located. At the same time, the other two floors, where “civilians” could have been located (we should by no means forget what heinous crimes were committed by these very “civilians” when they killed, burned alive, raped and dragged to Gaza Jews in the villages seized on 7 October) were not damaged at all.
Alas, the Israel Defence Forces spokesman did not release a clarifying statement until many hours later (an inexplicable and outrageous delay). In the meantime, the Hamas lie, widely picked up by our enemies, has travelled around the world, prompting a cascade of condemnation of Israel by hypocritical leaders in Europe, the U.S. and other parts of the world (on the heinous massacre of Hindus by Muslims in Bangladesh, which has been going on for more than a week now, all these politicians, of course, have not said a word).
In any case, God willing, our army managed to eliminate a large number of terrorists. It is possible that this included the “chief of staff” of the Islamic Jihad group.
In addition, our army attacked dozens more terrorist targets from the air, and as part of the ongoing “hunt” for terrorists — participants in the horrific massacre of 7 October — after receiving accurate intelligence, another such killer was eliminated.
2. The elimination of terrorists in Lebanon continues. In the past 24 hours, two Hamas terrorists were killed in that country. One of them was a field commander responsible for shelling Israeli population centres from Lebanon, and the other was his guard. Both were shot in a targeted air attack near the Lebanese city of Sidon.
Unfortunately, these eliminations are not able to stop completely the rocket attacks by Hizbullah. Last night, the terrorist group launched attack drones towards a military base near Safed, causing alarm bells to sound in Safed and the surrounding area. Thank G-d, there were no casualties.
3. Note that in Lebanon itself, hysteria and panic reign amid Hizbullah’s threats to attack Israel in a particularly strong manner and the realisation that the Israeli response could be crushing. So far, some 45,000 residents have already fled Beirut, the capital of the once-prosperous country. Another 100,000 or so have fled southern Lebanon.
The panic and terror of a possible Israeli attack is very visible in Lebanon. Empty city streets, stormed pharmacies, empty shopping centres, Beirut airport is filled with crowds rushing to fly anywhere to leave the country.
The heads of two dozen states have also contributed to the panic, calling on their citizens to leave Lebanon immediately — anywhere.
Note also that these same heads of state did not even think of calling on their citizens in Israel to flee. And this is not because of such widespread anti-Semitism. Not at all. It’s just that they are well aware that, by the grace of G-d, Israel may have the world’s most advanced air and missile defence systems, an infrastructure of shelters, a warning system that allows citizens to quickly reach protected territory, etc.
Lebanon, of course, has nothing of the sort (who cares about the problems of ordinary people there). No one in Lebanon will notify citizens of an impending rocket or bomb threat (except the Israel Defence Forces), there are few shelters, almost no protection at all.
It is no wonder that the Lebanese civilian population is now in panic and terror, realising that war with Israel will make their lives unbearable or end them altogether.
4 The Israel Defence Forces have published official figures that our attack drones have eliminated 6,000 terrorists since 7 October. Note that, unlike the far-fetched figures published by Hamas and its supporters, the Israel Defence Forces’ roll call lists make it possible to verify the identity of each person eliminated and to verify both his reality and his involvement in the horrific genocide committed by the Gazans on that terrible Saturday.
We are talking about a huge number. After all, many of those eliminated were not ordinary murderers, but experienced field commanders.
At the same time, about ten thousand more terrorists were eliminated by our ground troops, pilots of military aircraft and attack helicopters, etc.
5. The international defence system around Israel also continues to strengthen. In the Red Sea — close to Yemen — US warships along with warships from other countries are positioned ready to intercept Yemeni drones and missiles.
Two British battleships are stationed in Cyprus along with a US Marine aircraft carrier. By the way, this aircraft carrier is somewhat smaller than the US Navy aircraft carriers, but in any case carries dozens of aircraft and attack helicopters.
In addition, two large US Navy aircraft carriers are moving towards Iran. One has already entered the Gulf of Oman, the other is on its way.
As a result, US warships capable of intercepting ballistic and cruise missiles are deployed throughout the region, both near Iran and Israel. There are also at least 3 US fighter squadrons already deployed in the area, joined by all the fighter squadrons of two large aircraft carriers and a small aircraft carrier in Cyprus, as well as a squadron of F-22 stealth aircraft that has already arrived and been deployed in a “secret location”.
All together, about 180-200 US fighter jets (intercept and/or attack) positioned around Israel.
All of this, on the one hand, is designed to deter the Iranian regime threatening Israel with a major attack — if attacked, to assist in intercepting Iranian drone strikes.
However, the downside, or rather the main purpose of this deployment is to deter Israel. The US Democrats’ administration, which does not want to defeat Iran and its proxies, is trying to force Israel to abandon a preemptive strike against Iran and its proxies, which could free Israel from enemy threats. The Democrats seek to prevent Israel from defeating its enemies so that Israel will continue to live under constant threat, forcing Israel to make more and more concessions to its enemies.
We can only hope and pray that our leaders will be able to contain the pressure of the American administration and use the situation to launch a pre-emptive strike that will relieve us of the burden of threats from Iran and its satellites for years to come. The commandment of the Torah says: “If someone comes to kill you, kill him first”. Only by acting in accordance with this wise principle can we achieve peace and tranquility.
