We thank G-d, blessed be His Name, for the miracles He performed during Hizbullah’s attempt to attack us. As time goes on, we learn more and more details about this incredible story that happened recently, and we begin to realize how many amazing miracles happened here.
First of all, most of us simply slept through the whole thing, because the most important part of the Hizbullah attack — on the intelligence and Mosad bases near the Glilot junction near Tel Aviv — was completely thwarted by our preemptive strike. Similarly, it was not necessary to declare an alarm in the vicinity of Haifa, where anti-missile and missile batteries are deployed near Kibbutz En-Shemer. That is why most of the population of Israel only woke up in the morning to learn about the great miracles that happened during the night.
How not to recall the famous story from the Talmud about the righteous king Hizkiyahu, who fell asleep in his bed in firm faith in G-d, and in the morning discovered that G-d had performed a miracle, destroying the entire army of the enemy Assyrian king Sanheriv besieging Jerusalem.
Secondly, overall, much of the attack that Hizbullah had planned to launch against many of our military bases and apparently many other targets was thwarted when our air force launched a preemptive strike, destroying 270 enemy targets. And this was made possible because, G-d willing, our intelligence was able to detect in time the preparations for a massive launch, and a hundred of our fighter jets were able to very quickly eliminate hundreds of launchers — that is, thousands of launch containers with thousands of missiles.
As a result, Hizbala only had time to use a few light and small launchers for a short distance. They managed to launch 230 missiles and 20 attack drones, which were for the most part successfully intercepted by our air defenses. The Hizbullah attack, which was meant to be a demonstration of the group’s power and Israel’s weakness, ended with one minor injury and material damage — a burned chicken coop and damage to several houses. By the way, the great miracles of the Almighty were manifested here as well, because people could have been injured in the houses.
Thirdly, contrary to the intimidation of the media and various interested parties who want our defeat, our preventive strike did not lead to an escalation of the war. Neither Iran itself, nor all its satellites in Iraq, Syria and Yemen (where the Houthis are still digesting the blow dealt to them by our air force) dared to enter the war. So, our precise and spectacular strike did not lead to a regional war.
Neither did the other horrible scenarios that the media constantly scare us with, such as Hizbullah initiating a ground invasion, destroying our electrical infrastructure, launching an attack with tens of thousands of missiles, including precision missiles, which will last for several days. None of this has happened. „Hizbullah is silently „licking its wounds“ and digesting the shock.
And finally, another great miracle: we launched a preemptive strike... and now a great number of people, contrary to the propaganda of the enemy, have realized how important it is to attack first, how much it improves our situation and undermines the capabilities of the enemy.
After the Yom-Kippur War, the Lubavitcher Rebbe King Moshiach spoke painfully about how terrible it was that the government of that time did not allow the army to launch a preemptive strike that would have saved the lives of thousands of our people. Now we have seen again how important it is to strike on time and first.
