Yesterday, at a press conference, he stated that the U.S. is ready to take responsibility for Gaza and that he wants to evacuate all its residents (1.8 million people) and „level it to the ground, creating in its place the Riviera of the Middle East.“ The financing for this would come from „wealthy countries in the region.“
Netanyahu remarked that Trump thinks outside the box and spoke about the need to take action against Iran, which had attempted to assassinate Trump and also tried to assassinate Netanyahu. (As you may recall, Hezbollah’s drones were launched at the Prime Minister’s residence in Caesarea, damaging the bedroom window.)
The U.S. President has kept his promise: new economic sanctions have been imposed on Iran. „If Iran tries to destroy us, it will be destroyed itself,“ Trump warned.
