Great thanks to G-d for the tremendous miracle that occurred today — a direct hit from a ballistic missile launched from Yemen struck near Ben Gurion Airport. There is no doubt: this was not debris from an interception, but a direct hit near the terminal, which was filled with people and aircraft loaded with passengers. Hundreds of lives were saved by a great miracle!
This morning, Houthi terrorists from Yemen launched a ballistic missile at Israel. “After sirens sounded in various parts of Israel, several attempts were made to intercept the missile launched from Yemen,” stated representatives of the Israel Defense Forces.
According to various reports, interception attempts were made using the Arrow 3 missile (which is designed to intercept threats outside the atmosphere — but failed), as well as the modern American THAAD system, which has a range of 200 km.
Unfortunately, these attempts were unsuccessful, and the missile fell within the grounds of Ben Gurion Airport. It was reported that at the time of the attack, three planes were on approach for landing, but air traffic controllers instructed them to circle until clearance was given. Only by the grace of the Almighty was a major catastrophe averted — G-d forbid!
