We see the following in the last verse in the Torah portion of “Chayei Sarah” (“Life of Sarah”) read last Saturday - “And he fell in front of all his brothers” (“he” is a reference to Ishmael).
The Baal ha-Turim (a famous medieval Torah commentator, Rabbi Yaakov Ben-Asher) interprets this as follows: “When Ishmael falls at the end of time, then there will rise the lineage of David, from the heritage of Isaac.” In other words, the proximity of the chapter "Toldot" ("toldot" is translated as "an inheritance") immediately following the chapter "Chaya Sarah", leads us to conclude that the fall of Ishmael, will be the prelude to the birth of Moshiach from the family of David, from the heritage of Isaac, about which it is written at the beginning of the chapter "Toldot".
In other words, after the fall of Ishmael, the righteous Moshiach (Messiah) from the lineage of David, will appear at the end of days.
In recent years, we have been witnessing the continuous downfall of nations descended from Ishmael. We are talking about many Arab countries experiencing upheavals, political instability, and other internal upheavals. Their economic power has been drastically reduced, due both palace coups and regime collapses. Additionally, the U.S. has become the largest oil exporter and is no longer dependent on Arab suppliers while the rest of the world, increasingly using alternative energy sources, is following its lead.
A loss of political stability and a reduction of their economic status, has caused the Arab countries, where numerous Islamic terrorist organizations are based, to lose their international status.
This is nothing other than the final fall of Ishmael which, according to the Baal ha-Turim, heralds the coming and revelation of Moshiach.
In other words, the current fall of the Arab countries that we are observing (a military and an economic weakening, as well as the loss of their international status) is a clear and visible sign of the approaching complete Rdemption in the very near future!
