I am in receipt of your letter of September 22nd with the enclosure, as well as your previous correspondence.
Since you want to know my position on the question of Moshiach and the Messianic Age — may it come soon, in our time, you can readily expect it to be that of every Jew for whom the Torah — Toras Chaim, is the guide in the daily life in all personal aspects, and certainly in such a matter which affects the Jewish people and the whole world.
Thus we have clear instructions as well as indications, as to the nature of Moshiach, and what his actions and accomplishments will be. These are summed up in concise and very meaningful language, as usual, in the Code of Maimonides, Hil. Melochim, end of Chap. 11. See also ibid, Chap. 12, Hal. 3 to the end. Here too applies the principle which applies to all matters of the Torah, "Do not add or detract from it". There you will find an answer to your question with regard to the Moshiach, the Messianic Age and my views on the subject.
