The official information has been published that during the fighting in the Gaza Strip, an IDF helicopter with 50 of our paratroopers on board was shot down in mid-air by an enemy anti-aircraft missile. Miraculously, the helicopter succeeded to land safely. At the same time, after the evacuation of our fighters, it was hit again by an anti-tank missile, which destroyed the machine completely.
A double miracle — the crew and all the fighters remained unharmed. An amazing miracle, the information about which was allowed to be published.
Last Saturday, during heavy fighting in the outskirts of the Gaza Strip, the Yasur helicopter (CH-53 Sea Stallion — heavy transport helicopter) arrived at the battle line with 50 fighters on board.
The helicopter took a direct hit from an anti-aircraft missile, but managed to land. Just as all the fighters and pilots managed to get out, another anti-aircraft missile hit it, completely destroying the combat vehicle. All our guys were miraculously saved!
I want to emphasize — it is a double and amazing miracle that happened to the helicopter:
First, it was shot down by an anti-aircraft missile model “Igla” (Russian portable anti-aircraft missile system designed to hit low-flying air targets under conditions of thermal distractions) — this happened when it was in the air with 50 fighters on board and a full crew. By an apparent miracle of the Almighty, the pilots did not lose control and managed to land the damaged aircraft!
Then, the Almighty revealed to us another obvious miracle, all our fighters and crew managed to get out before the next enemy missile completely destroyed the helicopter!
An amazing miracle of salvation by the grace of G-d! Praise the G-d for He is good, for His kindness is everlasting!
