The Press Service of the Israel Defense Forces reports that four divisions deployed in the south are ready for an offensive. One of them is the famous 252nd Sinai Armored Reserve Division, the one that stopped an attack by the Egyptian Army’s 25th Armored Brigade in the Gidi Pass in the Yom Kippur War, and then defeated the Egyptian Army’s 3rd Armored Brigade in the battle of Wadi Mabuk. The enlistment of reservists in this division, which includes several armored and infantry brigades, was now 120%. This means that literally all the called-up reservists have arrived (usually they call up more than necessary, because, as a rule, 20 percent of them do not arrive for various reasons, but in this case all of them came...).
Brigadier General Moran Omer, the division commander, said that “the entire last week the divisional units have been fighting the enemy, and now they are preparing for the next stages.”
“I have no doubt in my mind that we, the reservists and enlisted men, will defeat Hamas,” Omer said. “Reservists learn very quickly,” General Omer continued, “they are serious, determined people and we can feel it. My job is to stay focused on the assigned mission and execute it as well as possible, using all available resources. We will do whatever is necessary. And that’s clear to each and every one of us right now.”

We can only hope that our Prime Minister will be able to keep Biden, who will arrive tomorrow and, as we have already learned, will attend the Israeli Cabinet meeting with his Secretary of State (a completely unprecedented event in our history), from tying the hands of our army and preventing the defeat and destruction of Hamas.
America needs a strong Israel, but for us to remain strong, we must now rebuild our deterrent power and destroy a brutal enemy that has committed crimes against humanity.
