Muhammad Shahzab Khan, a Pakistani terrorist who supports the „Islamic State“ and lives in Canada, was arrested en route to the US border, where he was attempting to infiltrate in order to carry out a mass terrorist attack at „770“ — the world center of Chabad in New York in the month of Tishrei — on the anniversary (on the non-Jewish calendar) of the massacre carried out by Arab terrorists in Israel (October 7).
The U.S. Justice Department said the charge against him was that the terrorist „planned to kill as many Jews and Israelis as possible.“ The FBI investigation, in conjunction with Canadian law enforcement, was launched in late 2023 when the terrorist posted pro-IS videos on social media and began using an encrypted messaging app to communicate with others.
The terrorist was arrested after sharing with two undercover FBI agents his plans to carry out a terrorist attack, which he said would be „the largest on U.S. territory since the 9/11 attacks (in terms of number).“
Khan intended to carry out a mass shooting at the 770 Jewish Center in Brooklyn. He also told them that he chose the exact date to take advantage of the gathering of many Jews during the fall holidays.
He was arrested on September 4, which was the new month of Elul, when G-d is especially favorable to the Jewish people. Let us thank Him for His miracles!
